Ivor, the plumber who repaired my shower valve was professional, efficient, and friendly. I would be happy to use his services for any plumbing needing done in my home. However, the firm he works for, Boston Standard, charged me just under $1000 for less than two hours of ivor’s time and a $200 part. There was no justification offered for this. I will not be using Boston Standard again.
