My AC unit was not blowing cold air so I had a technician from Boston Standard come for a diagnostic on 7/23/21. The technician said it was a faulty capacitor but he did not have a spare part to install that day. He removed the capacitor to test and put it back. I had a different company come to look at the unit today. They said that the wires on the capacitor were placed in the wrong spot and that would have caused damaged to my compressor. I’m waiting for a quote from the new company but it is going to cost me at least $3,000 dollars to repair the damage Boston Standard has done!
