I have used Boston Standard in the past with no issues.
Iam a senior with medical issues, a cold house and a faulty heating system.
After scheduling appointment, technician that came out was a nice professional person who informed me of the issues with boiler.
He then proceeded to give me a price and stated that I would have to pay half of the bill before he left. I was NEVER informed through phone scheduling or the MANY texts I had received from this company.
Incidentally the part that was needed had to be ordered and he was not sure when he would return to complete job.
Fast forward, because I did not give half of price for job they refused to do the work.
I proceeded to ask to speak to manager but was advised to send an e-mail to the general scheduling e-mail box.
I did send Mr. Wood, CEO e-mail through the scheduling e-mail box who has not responded as of yet.
I will not recommend this company because they do not stand behind their name or motto” The company you can count on”
