I was surprised at the cost of a recent survey Boston Standard Company did for a steam boiler in my 120 year old house to replace the boiler and remove the old one. The total job was priced at $25,726.00 which I think is a little high I am having 2 other contractors bid and do not know what their bid is but, I looked back in my records and I found a Boston Standard Company Estimate dated just over a year ago and it was for the same total job only this was priced at $13,700 almost twice as much! I know there is inflation and things have increased in price but twice as much???? Won’t be calling you Buyer Beware!
