My usual heating company was booked up so called Boston Standard. Nice guys who came out to my house to look at a faulty flame sensor and circuit board on my HVAC. But they quoted me $3,500 for the repair. And that was just parts it seemed. Insane!! Luckily my usual service company had an opening and came and fixed it. Price…$650 total for the whole job. Don’t know if this was an FU quote – they really didn’t want the small job, or if they are really ripping people off hugely.
