I have been working with Boston Standard Plumbing since 2014. They have managed my heat and hot water since then. The best thing about this company is the honesty of the owner, and the personal care he takes to his customers. I honestly don’t know anything about plumbing so I have trusted in this company to make all decisions and properly advice me for what needs to be done. At one point, a mistake was made by a technician (as mistakes happen), and I would have never known if Joe himself (the owner) didn’t call me to apologize, explain the entire mistake and how it happened, take responsibility and ensure I was first on the list to have it solved immediately. He obviously credited me back the funds that went into the mistake and took full responsibility. This to me means more than anything. I could go with any plumbing company and I would believe whatever I am told. But now, I know, that Joe reviews his technicians work and when something isnt right he ensures he corrects it. Its kind of like going to the doctor- I just go and trust them to do whats best. I dont know the entire system…. how could I. Joe makes me feel confident that I can entrust in him the same way. The mistake wasnt even a big mistake. Just the amount of time and effort he personally put into it really impressed me. That is customer service. No automated calls, no online chats, a direct call and honest apology followed by a solution. Very refreshing. Proud to be their customer.
