Very expensive, unreasonable prices, no transparency about pricing, hourly rate, etc. When the plumber arrived, we were quoted over $900 to install a replacement kitchen faucet and $900-$1,900 (!) to install a replacement bathroom faucet–both pretty basic faucets and provided by us–with no explanation for why their quotes are so high compared to other companies we received quotes from. We had both faucets installed several days later by another company for $620 TOTAL–less than 1/3 of the quote from Boston Standard. Other companies quoted in the $600-$700 range total too. I can’t imagine paying Boston Standard’s exorbitant prices–you don’t need to. It is price gouging and taking advantage of customers.
