Our furnace was blowing cold air. Daniel was friendly and professional. He listened well to my description of the problem. He was quick, but also took the time to explain everything well. Because there would be a wait for the part, he made an adjustment that would make it more likely our furnace would light and provide some heat in the meantime. He also showed concern for our safety when he checked on where we had a Carbon Monoxide monitor. (5 stars to Daniel)

While Boston Standard advertises 24 hour emergency service, the current reality is that they don’t have enough staff to respond to calls. I called Friday evening at 6 and was told that the weekend tech was already all booked. Thankfully, it wasn’t terribly cold and we got service on Monday morning. (4 stars for Boston Standard)
