$350 to fix a running toilet is the main reason I cannot recommend Boston Standard to anyone. This is the second time, I used them after having them install a dishwasher for me about a month ago. I thought they were very high then but I decided to give them another shot. I got the call today that it would be over $350 to stop a toilet from running. When I said but I can buy a whole new toilet for $300, Tom the Plumber laughed and said but we charge $800 to install it. I told Tom the Plumber that I was unhappy, go ahead and fix it, he called his boss then he left leaving me with a running toilet. This company needs to be avoided at all costs.
