If there is a lower score (0 or negative) available, I would definitely choose it. My tankless combi boiler only provided hot water, but no heating. I had a technician come and he identified a broken 3-way valve (Unfortunately he could not fix it due to his busy schedule) I called Boston Standard, and told them it was a broken 3 way valve. Its technician came and told me she needed to call the backstage technical support to diagnose. In desperate need for moving forward to solve the issue, I had to let her make that call. Later it turned out to be the 3-way vavle problem and the call costed me nearly $500. I later used another plumber, when he heard my description of the problem, he immediately told me it was the 3-way vavle problem which is the most common problem for this type. This makes me believe Boston Standard’s service is unprofessional or unethical. They do not honestly provide their service in a normal workmanship manner!
The owner said “ Any company that does not use technical support is doing you a disservice.” I do not agree. If it is necessary, of course you can use tech support. However, according to another technician I used later this is the most common and simple problem for the tankless combi heater. We hired you as a professional as we needed your knowledge, experience, expertise. What knowledge, experience, expertise did I get from your service in this case??? Your calling skills???
