Thanks to our partners at FW Webb and to all of our great customers for helping us at Boston Standard Company make our first toilet paper drive a wild success! In recognition of National Toilet Paper Day 2014, we were able to donate more than 2,000 rolls of toilet paper to Pine Street Inn right here in Boston.
Toilet paper and sanitary supplies are always in high demand among the most vulnerable in our community, but federal food aid programs don’t allow recipients to purchase these items with their monthly stipend. Our receiving partner, Pine Street Inn, will distribute our donation among the more than 1,600 people who are making the transition from homelessness to permanent housing here in Boston each day.
We were delighted to partner with FW Webb, Pine Street Inn and you, our wonderful customers, for this first, very successful toilet paper drive. We could not have done this without you. We are already looking forward to expanding our efforts to collect and donate this very ordinary, yet very necessary household item on National Toilet Paper Day 2015!
